Sat Oct 3, 11 AM, Waterfront Park, downtown Beaufort. The 32nd annual and the biggest weekend on the Beaufort calendar. The market, Kid's Corner, the Parris Island Marine Band at 12:30, the Rotary Shrimp Race at 2 (real shrimp, real tiny track), Willie Jackson & The Tybee Blues Band — and don't leave before the Shrimp Showdown winner is crowned. Friday night works too: gates open 5 PM, Anna Barnes at 5:15, then The Reflex — a Duran Duran tribute — at 7:30. Free admission; $1 food and drink tickets. Details
