Founded in 2018 by local designer Rachel Loomis, the shop at 809 Bay Street is built around the Southern lady — Rachel's words for the woman who honors milestones, holds traditions close, and still believes manners count. Walk in and you'll find her vision on every rack: women's and girls' apparel, accessories, baby gifts, and home goods, all with that polished-but-never-stuffy Lowcountry charm.
This isn't fast fashion flown in from nowhere. Rachel designs with a Southern lady's actual life in mind — church on Sunday, oyster roasts in fall, weddings that turn into weekends. The result is the rare boutique where you can outfit yourself for Saturday night and find the perfect baby shower gift in the same trip.
What You'll Find
Dresses that move from brunch to the boat, tops and bottoms in easy coastal palettes, beach wear, and a wall of accessories — earrings, belts, bags — that can rescue any suitcase you under-packed. The gift section is dangerously good: candles, stationery, home accents, and those little "just because" finds that make you the hero of every gift exchange.
